Is Socialized Health Care the Way to Go? A Look at Britain?s Health Care System

Against the backdrop of expensive health care costs, the Americans would not be better off if they are for socialized medicine?

Not so, according to a recent study by the Cato Institute of Britain’s National Health Service (NHS). There is no perfect scenario when it comes to health care. On one side of the spectrum is the desire to unlimited medical care, their own lives as much as possible and the other end of the spectrum is rationed to extend to haveTo control> care spending.

The NHS is a central government version of the single-payer system in England and it pays directly for health care and finances of the system through general tax revenues. Most doctors and nurses are government employees.

How to Find Affordable Dental Care in Your Area

In the 1960s and 1970s, most dental insurance policies would cover up to $1000 or $1500 in dental care every year. Today, a single crown can cost that much, but most dental insurance policies still have the same annual dollar limits.

Unable to find affordable dental care, many people are having teeth pulled that could be fixed, because they can’t afford to pay for the work.

Finding affordable dental care in your area should not be that difficult. Though the task of locating a dental specialist who offers an affordable dental plan for yourself or your family can take some time, but it can be done easily if you know how to find them.

Musings On Health Care Reform And The Affect On Small Business

I could go on forever…so much information to consider and opine upon. Who says the system is broken? The US has the quality AND level of care that nearly everyone in the world looks to with envy.

The problem is not CARE … it is COST. So why is the proposed “solution” labeled Health CARE Reform.

Because it is care that will be affected … not cost. Unless you consider higher costs as the outcome of the “reform” you were looking for.

HALF the reason our costs are so high is because of the quality AND level of care that (nearly) everyone gets. No other country pays for such aggressive cancer-fighting treatments, heart transplants, quadruple-bypass etc in the “average Joe” — even if you’re 80 years old or 100 pounds over-weight. In the US, it’s joint-replacement surgury for everyone!

The other HALF of the reason our costs… Read More…

Aloe Vera – Can It Be Used For Oral Dental Care?

Aloe vera has many different health properties and is often used to treat various skin and digestive conditions. It can also boost your immune system and general well-being. However can it be used for dental protection against bacteria and tooth decay?

There are numerous ways you can protect your teeth from bacteria and decay. These include things like brushing your teeth twice a day, visiting your dentist every six months, flossing your teeth, using a mouthwash regularly, and limiting your intake of sugary foods and drinks that stain your teeth such as tea, coffee and wine. However aloe vera is rarely mentioned as being an effective way of caring for your teeth.

This is probably due to the fact that it is largely untested and therefore still open to debate, but many people, including dentists, do believe that dental care and protection is another health benefit of… Read More…
